About Me
I’m Anette Jeanne Heinzer-Hiemer—an INSEAD graduate and PCC-credentialed coach with deep experience in life sciences (Lonza Group, youth-empowerment initiatives). As an IASTI-accredited practitioner, Cognomie leadership team member, and Canvas Leadership consultant, I blend solution-focused methods, AI-driven insights, and mental-fitness science to help mid- and senior-level professionals achieve breakthrough success.
With over 25 years of experience across multiple sectors, including corporate communications, marketing, public relations, sales, and leadership development, I specialize in executive coaching, career development consulting, and mentoring high-potential talent within the life sciences industry.
I work with individuals facing career transitions, imposter syndrome, and workplace challenges such as bullying and lack of confidence. I collaborate with senior psychotherapists, coaches, and mentors to provide a comprehensive, holistic approach to professional growth. This partnership empowers professionals to overcome barriers, build self-esteem, and reclaim their confidence in leadership roles. My focus is on strengthening emotional resilience and developing leadership presence, enabling individuals to navigate high-pressure environments successfully.
In my coaching methodology, I integrate clinical psychology and psychodynamics in organizations, offering a deep understanding of individual behaviours within organizational systems. I help clients identify emotional roadblocks, self-limiting beliefs, and internal conflicts, which can impede professional growth and leadership potential. By addressing these challenges at a psychodynamic level, I guide my clients in gaining self-awareness, and personal transformation to unlock their full leadership potential.
For example, in a recent engagement with a senior professional in the tech industry, I helped the client navigate a challenging career transition after facing significant internal resistance and imposter syndrome. By applying psychodynamic principles and leadership resilience techniques, the client was able to overcome self-doubt, gain clarity on their professional path, and ultimately secure a senior executive role with a leading global firm in the tech sector.
Living and working across eight countries and three continents (North America, Europe, Africa), I have developed a deep understanding of global business challenges. I’ve worked extensively with Fortune 500 companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, Roche, Lonza, BASF, Dow Chemical, and GE Medical, providing bespoke solutions to support senior leaders, including C-Suite executives, in navigating complex career transitions, leadership development, and building cross-cultural leadership capabilities.
My coaching methodology integrates strategic guidance, solution-focused coaching, NLP, and AI-driven insights, supported by my proprietary framework to empower professionals to lead with resilience, authenticity, and purpose in global environments.
Qualifications
I hold certifications from the International Coaching Federation (PCC), the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCCC - in progress) which form the highest level in coaching and mentoring worldwide and INSEAD's Executive Master in Coaching and Consulting for Change, a master in emotional intelligence as well as in change management (EMCCC).
I also have expertise in clinical psychology and psychodynamics, which I incorporate into leadership coaching. Additionally, I have certifications in the Global Executive Leadership Inventory (GELI) and Personality Audit from the Kets de Vries Institute plus recent certifications from London School of Economics (Managing People and Teams – distinction, MBA essentials, Health Economics and Health Policies).
I am also a Certified Trainer for Individuals and Teams in Cultural Intelligence (Cultural Intelligence Center) plus holding a management diploma from a renown Swiss business school/psychological institute.
